The profound challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic have left a significant impact, particularly on low-income earners. In response to this pressing situation, Belianemas Synergy Sdn Bhd (BES) has taken proactive measures to alleviate these hardships. By extending a helping hand, we have provided essential food supplies to several low-income households in Kampung Serikin.
Upon our arrival at the village, we were warmly welcomed by the Village Head, and a few members of the Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung (JKKK) – the Village Development and Safety Committee. The distribution process was meticulously organized to ensure compliance with the necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set in place to prevent large gatherings.
The essential food baskets were efficiently unloaded at the Balai Raya (Village Community Hall). The distribution method adopted was a blend of direct and JKKK-assisted deliveries. A select group of household representatives received their food baskets directly, while the rest were distributed to households by the JKKK members themselves. This approach was taken in adherence to the SOP guidelines, prioritizing the safety and well-being of the community.
